Attendees: Mike Story, Sara Story, Mike Rancour, Harold Peterson, Kathy Royce, and Miles Johnson.

Board reviewed and approved minutes from 10/20/2012 meeting.

Directory topic: Kathy Royce will contact Mary Shimp to get information of the new residents on the lakes to add to the directory addendum. If there are many updates, we may create a new directory.

Bulletin board at Y: Suggested to post this topic in newsletter and send ideas to Mike Story via email. Harold Peterson can print off large lake map at his work to include on the board. Also mentioned that we will post phone numbers on GOLA web site for all board members. Financials: Mike Story provided account balances. Board approved payment to post office for $44 for post office box for next year. Mike Rancour will hold on to extra post office box key to be used if Mike Story is out of town for extended times. Board approved WOPOA dues for $25. Mike Story will look into transferring accounts over to Frandsen bank in Crosslake as well as getting an endorsement stamp for which the board approved. There is a brief case from Dwight Steward that Mike Rancour will bring up to Mike Story.

Launch dates for spring: Harold Peterson can help George Chubba out with launch.

Association meetings: August 31 meeting will be held at 11 am. The May 25 social meeting will be informational. Topics up for discussion include: Possible meeting with Wade Miller with the DNR to discuss new launch and a hearing regarding a shed variance on Goodrich.

Mike Rancour presented a draft copy of the newsletter for review. The following newsletter items were discussed:
Bulletin Board at Y in road between lakes: Mike Story working on replacing the board. Please email Mike if you have suggestions as to content to add. email: mstory9@gmail.com
Lake Use Reminder: Sara Story provided this statement to add:
A friendly reminder that public waters are available to the public--this includes the entire water body and incidental use of the beds, such as anchoring on a sandbar off-shore. Please be respectful to home owners property near theses locations and make sure to pick up any trash that may fall into or is found in the water. (There has been mention in the past of finding broken glass near these areas.) In addition, please be alert of swimmers in shallow areas and lower your speed of your watercraft when passing by. Everyone wants to enjoy the water and have fun, but please be respectful and safe. Homeowners please share these rules and courtesies with your guests. Lets be good neighbors to all!

It was also suggested that we contact the Boy Scout camp to remind them not to place their canoes and kayaks up on homeowners' property.

New business: Fish stocking was done in fall of 2012 and won't be done again until fall 2014.

Regarding the new launch site: There hopefully should be large signs about invasive water species placed on the site--can discuss with DNR at the meeting that will be arranged.

Meeting concluded at 11 am.
