Minutes of GOLA General Meeting August 31, 2013 | |
Meeting called to order at 11:11 AM Introductions of board members in attendance: Mike Rancour, Harold "H" Peterson, Mike Story, Sara Story, Miles Johnson, Dan Menden, Kathy Royce, and George Chuba. New property owner introductions: Sandy and John Swanson, Rudy and Mary Johnson (Both on Lake O'Brien) Minutes from summer meeting: motion approved to waive reading of the minutes and aprove minutes as posted to the website and circulated at the meeting. Balances in accounts: General $5877.88, Fish $1136.86 and Emergency $2021.24. The fish stocking will be done again in fall of 2014. Election: Mike Story nominated and approved for treasurer. Harold Peterson nominated and approved for co-chair. Miles Johnson nominated and approved for Goodrich board member. Dan Menden nominated and approved for O'Brien board member. Reminder of Mary Shimp's party on O'Brien today at 5 pm. O'Brien old launch: Will be open Sun, Sept 1, from 3-5 pm and Oct 19 from 1-3 pm O'Brien new launch update: Email was sent out to DNR for status update but have not received a response yet. Mike Rancour will post to GOLA website if he receives a reply. New business: none Mike Rancour presented the trailer from the US Forest dvd about invasive species.
